About Everbridge
Emergency Alerts
McPherson County Emergency Management uses a mass notification system called Everbridge. Everbridge can be used in South Central Kansas to send alerts about emergencies and other events.
Other local government agencies can have access to Everbridge to send non-emergency community alerts (when opted in)
How it works

Only authorized officials may use Everbridge to notify residents and businesses of emergency conditions

Residents can sign up to receive alerts for specific areas, types of events, and delivery methods

Alerts can be sent via text, phone call, email, mobile app, or fax

The system is meant to supplement existing means of communication, such as media and commercial sources
What types of alerts are available?

AMBER alerts

Hazardous traffic or road conditions

Boil water advisories

Evacuation notices

Severe weather conditions

Crime advisories
In addition, cities and other local government boards may send
